Distance sales contract
This contract is concluded between Karaz Tourism and the customer at the moment a booking is confirmed on this website. It is written for travel services — tours, activities, airport transfers, hotel arrangements and multi-day journeys — and not for the sale of physical goods, so nothing here describes shipping.

2. The customer
The customer is the person whose name, email address and telephone number are given at checkout. Those details, together with the booking reference, form part of this contract and are repeated in the confirmation email.
3. Subject of the contract
The subject is the travel service selected at checkout. The service page and the checkout summary state, before payment:
- the name and description of the experience
- the date and, where it applies, the start time
- the number and type of travellers
- what is included and what is not
- the total price and its currency
4. Price and payment
The price shown at checkout is the total payable. It is calculated from the options chosen and does not change afterwards. Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout, and any taxes applicable to the service are included in that figure unless the service page says otherwise.
Payment is made either by card through our payment provider, or directly with our team where the booking is arranged that way. Card details are entered on the payment provider's own secure page and never reach our servers.
5. Confirmation
A booking becomes binding when we accept it and payment is received or arranged. We then send a confirmation email carrying the booking reference, the service details, the meeting arrangements and the cancellation terms that apply to that booking.
6. Fulfilment of the service
The service is delivered on the date and at the place stated in the confirmation. How that works in practice — confirmation, meeting point, pickup, timing — is set out on the Service delivery page, which forms part of this contract.
7. Cancellation, changes and refunds
A booking cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time is refunded in full. A booking cancelled at the 24 hour mark, or at any point after it, is not refunded. This single rule applies to every service sold under this contract, and it is stated again in the confirmation email before the service date.
The full terms — how the deadline is measured, how to cancel, what applies if the seller cancels, and how refunds are paid — are set out on the Cancellation and refunds page, which forms part of this contract.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Turkish distance contract legislation, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation, transport, vehicle hire, catering and leisure services that are to be performed on a specific date or during a specific period. Most of what we sell falls into that category. This does not affect the cancellation terms in clause 7, which apply in addition and are stated in your confirmation.
9. Obligations of the parties
We undertake to provide the service as described, to hold a valid TÜRSAB licence for the duration of the contract, and to tell the customer without delay if anything material changes.
The customer undertakes to give accurate contact and traveller details, to be at the stated place at the stated time, and to hold any travel documents the service requires. Where a service is missed because these were not met, clause 7 applies.
10. Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected] with the booking reference. Turkish law applies to this contract, and the Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) and Consumer Courts in the customer's or the seller's place of residence have jurisdiction, within the monetary limits published each year by the Ministry of Trade.
11. Acceptance
By ticking the acceptance box at checkout, the customer confirms having read this contract, the cancellation and refund terms, and the service delivery terms, and agrees to them.
